  • Trust Hub & 10DLC Updates-1

Please Note: This article pertains to accounts with a regular ten-digit number (10DLC). It does not apply to toll-free numbers (e.g., 833, 844, 855, 866, 888) or shortcode numbers (e.g., 22122).

In today's world, texting has become a primary mode of communication for many individuals and businesses. With the increasing use of smartphones, enterprise texting has become an effective way for companies to reach out to customers and clients. However, it is crucial to ensure that communication is done in a responsible and regulated manner. That is why registering your phone number with The Campaign Registry (TCR) is so important.

Who is The Campaign Registry?

The Campaign Registry (TCR) works with North American mobile carriers to register Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging campaigns. The registry supports a sanctioned A2P 10 Digit Long Code (10DLC) text messaging ecosystem and provides visibility into the messaging source and content, allowing mobile carriers to provide a more reliable and predictable messaging service for brands and companies.

What is 10DLC?

10 Digit Long Code (10DLC) is the sanctioned standard for A2P text messaging utilizing a traditional 10-digit phone number, which generally contains a local area code (ex. 212-XXX-XXXX). 10DLC is a reliable messaging channel with throughput levels suitable for SMS campaigns and is sanctioned by mobile carriers. In addition to messaging, 10DLC supports voice calls on the same number used for texting.

Register Your Number

Mozeo allows you to register your phone number easily by going to SETTINGS > TRUST HUB in your dashboard. Once there, please complete the form so we can submit your information to the mobile carriers for review and approval. After submission, you can track the progress of your number approval from the Trust Hub.

👉 Full approval by the mobile carriers will take 1 - 3 weeks. This is outside our control, and we can not expedite this process.

New Requirements

  • EIN: This is your Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number, used to identify a business entity. Mobile carriers use this to verify that you're a real business and register you as a trusted sender. Failure to provide or any mismatch between your EIN and business name will result in automatic rejection by TCR. Learn More
